  When using the VERIFY(OPEN) function to identify missing or
  unavailable recovery assets, and abends0c4 in module IROVIDY0
  at offset x'768' may occur.  The problem is caused by an
  invalid address for the control block when trying to perform
  dynamic allocation to unallocate the data set.
  

Problem conclusion

• Code has been changed to correct the invalid address and
  perform dynamic allocation to unallocate the data set.
