Error description

  • DB2 Recovery Expert Tool for z/OS
    Missing alias in subsystem analysis when multi level alias is
    turned on.  This can result in error ARYS288E during recovery.
    
    The bug is caused when two similar aliases are encountered when
    one is a subset of characters within the other.
    For example:
    ABC and ABC1.
    
    The end result can be datasets missing from the backup.
