If a WebSphere Application Server or WebSphere Process Server
JVM process is not shut down gracefully, transactions could be
left in a pending state. Upon the next application server
startup, the following errors can be logged when the
    transaction service attempts transaction recovery:

J2CXAResource W J2CA0061W: Error creating XA Connection and
    Resource java.lang.ClassNotFoundException:
    com.ibm.ws.rsadapter.spi.WSManagedConnectionFactoryImpl
     at java.net.URLClassLoader$1.run(URLClassLoader.java:200)
     at java.security.AccessController.doPrivileged(Native Method)
     at java.net.URLClassLoader.findClass(URLClassLoader.java:188)
     at
    com.ibm.ws.bootstrap.ExtClassLoader.findClass(ExtClassLoader.jav
    a:150)
    ...

The root cause is that when constructing the class loader for
certain resources, the existing classloaders were not added to
    the recovery classloader.

Problem conclusion

  • The transaction service recovery code has been changed to
ensure that the existing classloaders are added to the
    recovery classloader.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix pack 7.0.0.11. Please refer to the Recommended Updates
