PM09132: DUPLICATE DDNAME ALLOCATIONS RUNNING MIG

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• In DB2 Administration Tool MIG ( migrate ) function can generate
  JCL for first MIG job that contains duplicate DDNAMEs in the
  library allocations for the following DDNAMES:
    ISPLLIB ISPMLIB ISPSLIB
  .
  Problem appears following skeleton ADB28M when skeleton ADB2SPFB
  generates duplicate DDNAMES in the first MIG job.
  .
  Problem appears to be limited to Admin invocation technique that
  does not set invocation variables of the form: ADBxLIB. This
  invocation technique pre-allocates Admin libs, leaving PROD ,
  PRODADD , and USERADD parms of ADBL clist as nulls during ADBL
  invocation call to initiate an Admin session.
  

Local fix

• Edit JCL before submitting for execution, or modify skeleton
  ADB2SPFB, adding the line:
    )SET DDN = &Z
  following lines 114, 162, and 194
  in r720 base level skeleton, ADB2SPFB.
