PM09131: RSV-BBP-0037 WHEN CLICKING BROWSER BACK BUTTON AFTER A DRILLTHROUGH

APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When running an authored drillthrough, if it takes longer than
the primary wait threshold you will be redirect to an interim
"Your report is running" page before the target report is
rendered.  If this occurs, and then you click the browser Back
button from the target report, you will be taken back to the
"interim" page, which then immediately throws the error:
"RSV-BBP-0037 The request asynchWait_Request failed because the
conversation was already released" Clicking the Previous Report
button on the Cognos Viewer toolbar works with no error.

Local fix

  • Click the Previous Report button in the Cognos Viewer toolbar
instead of clicking the browser's Back button.
