APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• - ABEND0C6 DFSICIO0 when using shared message
  queues and ETO Support signoff cleanup option.
    ABEND0C4 ABEND0C1 in other IMS modules also
    possible.
  - ETO Support batch update utility (IZTUD1U0) is
    not allowing the same Node name, either with or
    without wildcards, to be defined for different
    device types.  The utility ends with a non-zero
    return code, and message IZT7137E is displayed.
  - Potential IMS ABEND0C4 abend when using ETO
    Support suffixed userid option.
  - ABEND0C4 in IZTRAN when viewing
    Printer LTERM tables in E/CSA.
  - LTERM remaining in a STOPPED state after ETO Support
    signoff cleanup processing.  An additional symptom would
    be the terminal receiving MSGDFS069 TERMINAL
    INACTIVE.
  - Excessive runtime when deleting printer LTERMs
    using the ETO Support batch update utility (IZTUD1U0).

  This APAR is correcting the following:
  1. Potential IMS S0C4 abend when using ETO Support
  suffixed userid option.
  2. Potential IMS S0c6 abend when using ETO Support
  sign-off cleanup option.
  3. Potential S0C4 abend in IZTRAN when viewing
  Printer LTERM tables in E/CSA.
  4. LTERM remaining in a STOPPED state after ETO Support
  sign-off cleanup processing.  An additional symptom would
  be the terminal receiving message DFS069 TERMINAL INACTIVE.

  sign-off cleanup processing.  An additional symptom would
  be the terminal receiving message DFS069 TERMINAL INACTIVE.
  6. ETO Support batch update utility (IZTUD1U0) is
  not allowing the same Node name, either with or

Problem conclusion

• The code that caused the abend, and that which was leaving the
  LTERM in s STOPPED state, has been corrected.  The batch update
  utility has been changed to improve the runtime when deleting
  printer LTERMs by performing printer NODE cleanup only once,
  prior to program termination.
