Error description

• The DB2 Administration Tool for z/OS ALC function ended
  ABENDS0C8, this APAR will add additional debugging to the
  ADB27AC program and may be used to house a solution at a
  later date.

  *                 table with a row size greater than 9999      *
  *                 bytes while attempting to gather debug       *
  *                 data.                                        *

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Attempting to gather debug information, *
  *                      the ADB27AC program returns an          *
  *                      ONCODE=340 if the size of a row is      *
  *                      greater than 9999 bytes:                *
  *                                                              *
  *                      IBM0342S ONCODE=340 The SIZE            *
  *                      condition was raised.                   *
  *                                                              *
  *                      From entry point TRANSFORM_INFO         *
  *                      when the DEBUG=3 parm is used.          *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *

  The routine responsible for displaying debug information
  assumes that the maximum size of a table row is less than
  9999 bytes.
  

Problem conclusion

• The debug information routine is modified to be able to display
  numeric values greater than four digits.
  
  This APAR will not address the USER ABEND CODE 4038
  REASON CODE 00000001 seen when running ALC's
  ADB27AC program without the DEBUG=3 parm.
