Error description

• The DB2 Administration Tool for z/OS ALC using Change Management
  does not include the customers DEFAULT value specified on panel
  ADB26CTU 'ALTER Table'.

  *                 who use ALTER TABLE DDL with                 *
  *                 column default values.                       *

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When a DDL file is converted to         *
  *                      a version file by the DDL reader,       *
  *                      the default value for an ALTER          *
  *                      TABLE column is lost and                *
  *                      becomes NOT NULL WITH                   *
  *                      DEFAULT YES.                            *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply The PTF.                               *
  ****************************************************************
  The DDL reader, when processing an ALTER
  TABLE column default would set the default to YES
  without testing for a user provided default value.
  

Problem conclusion

• The DB2 Administration and Object Comparison Tool
  DDL reader was changed to correct this problem.
