  • The DB2 Administration Tool for z/OS batch WSL SYSPRINT DSN is
not retrieved from the ADB2UCUS.

Local fix

  • Amend the JCL to the high level qualifier of your choice.

Problem summary

  • ****************************************************************
* USERS AFFECTED: Users of the DB2 Administration Tool         *
*                 for z/OS who use the work statement          *
*                 list (WSL) function with utilities and       *
*                 have a PRINTDSN value set in                 *
*                 ADB2UCUS.                                    *
****************************************************************
* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The DB2 Administration Tool for         *
*                      z/OS batch WSL SYSPRINT DSN             *
*                      is not retrieved from ADB2UCUS.         *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION: Apply The PTF.                               *
****************************************************************
The ADB2WL4 skeleton was not using the ADB2UCUS
values.

Problem conclusion

  • The ADB2WL4 skeleton was modified to capture the
ADB2UCUS values for PRINTDSN. When the user sets
the PRINTDSN value in ADB2UCUS it will be used by
ADB2WL4.

Example ADB2UCUS setting for user to add :
)CM     USED IN SKEL ADB2WL4  WSL- WORK STATEMENT LIST
)SET PRINTDSN = &ZUSER..&WORKLIST..SYSPRINT
