Error description

• The DB2 Administration Tool for z/OS AL/RDEF panel ADB21SAR
  'Redefine Table Space' does not retain the values entered for
  the fields PQTY, SQTY or STOGROUP if the table space was
  originally defined as EXPLICIT / VCAT.

  *                      'ST' field has a value of 'E',          *
  *                      the mutually exclusive fields are       *
  *                      no longer visible.                      *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply The PTF.                               *
  ****************************************************************
  The rules for blanking out the fields are not clear to
  the user, nor is there a message shown. This process
  may confuse the user.
  

Problem conclusion

• Panel ADB21SAR is modified to check for mutually
  exclusive fields related to StorType, VCAT and
  Stogroup.
  
  An ST value of 'E' is mutually exclusive with fields associated
  with a Storage Group. When there is a conflict, message
  ADB343A is shown. The following fields are affected:
  
     PQTY
     SQTY
     ER
     Stogroup
  
  An ST value of 'I' is mutually exclusive with the VCAT field.
  When VCAT has a value, message ADB343A is shown.
  
  When these errors are encountered, the user remains on the
  panel. The mutually exclusive condition must be cleared
  manually by the user.
