APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The DB2 Administration Tool for z/OS GEN and DDL commands
  do not create any DDL when issued against the SYSDEFLT STOGROUP
  nor do they issue any messages explaining why no output is
  created.
  

Local fix

• Use the VOL command to see the volumes/sms control and I
  Interpret command to see the VCAT information.

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *

  The DB2 Administration Tool for z/OS GEN and DDL line commands
  do not create any DDL statements when issued against the
  STOGROUP SYSDEFLT, nor do they issue any message explaining
  why there was not any output generated.
  

Problem conclusion

• Program has been modified to support the generation of the
  CREATE STOGROUP statement for SYSDEFLT when the GEN or DDL
  line command is issued against this object on panel ADB21G.
  A functional comment '--#SET ACCEPT_RC 0 -601' is generated
  preceding the CREATE STOGROUP statement when the DDL or GEN
  line command is issued against STOGROUP SYSDEFLT.
  Meanwhile, the user will see a report generated when the
  REP command is issued against SYSDEFLT.
