PM07923: LONG DURATION MESSAGE ( EQQE038I ) ISSUED INCORRECTLY IF ACTUAL DURATION AND ESTIMATED DURATION ARE BOTH UNDER ONE MINUTE

Error description

• In a TWSz environment with high workstation analyzer ( WSA )
  actitivty it is possible for the long duration message
  ( EQQE038I ) to be issued incorrectly in the case where both
  actual duration and estimated duration are less than one
  minute, and actual duration is not greater than:
  (1) estimated duration * ALEACTION
  or
  (2) esimtated duration * LIMFDBK
  depending on whether ALEACTION and LIMFDBK are specified.
  The ALEACTION value overrides the LIMFDBK value if both
  parameters are specified.

  In the Workstation Analyzer a bad comparison could happens
  between the Max duration field stored in DOA area and the job
  duration that it is calculated at run time when the Actual
  duration and the Planned duration are under 1 minute and the
  Actual duration value exceeds the product between Planned
  duration and ALEACTION or LIMFDBK parameter.
  The issue there is because the filed stored in DOA it is in
  hundredth of seconds and the Actual Duration calculated at run
  time it is in thousandth of seconds.
  
  Besides the scenario above another fix has been done for the
  FTA job under 1 minute, for this jobs the Actual duration
  it is always equal to a minute, it means that the LONG DURATION
  message could be issued in unpredictable way, for this reason
  the LONG DURATION message will be always inhibit when the job
  runs on FTA ws and the duration it is under 1 minute.
  

Problem conclusion

• The comparison between the Max duration stored in DOA and s in
  the Duration calculated at run time has been fixed.
  Inhibited the LONG DURATION message when the job it is under
  1 minute and the job runs on FTA ws.
