    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION: APPLY THE PTF FIXING THIS APAR *
    ****************************************************************
    1. MVSPERF component:
Job DRLJMPL2 migrates table MVSPM_LPAR_H to a new structure. The
new table is created from member DRLTMPLP. This could cause SQL
errors in the migration when the 'old' and 'new' table do not
have the same number of columns.

    2. DB2 component:
Job DRLJDB08 migrates DB2 component data tables. It drops the
indexes for these tables, without recreating them.

    3. IMS Version 7 components:
These components are no longer supported in TDS 181. However,
if customers have installed these components previously, these
component objects would still exist in the system tables.

Problem conclusion

  • 1. MVSPERF component:
Job DRLJMPL2 changed to create 'new' table as at PK11283 level.

    2. DB2 component:
Job DRLJDB08 changed to recreate indexes.

    3. IMS Version 7 components:
New job DRLJMIC2 created to remove IMS v 7 objects from the
    system tables.

Job DRLJMIC2 should only be executed if you are no longer
collecting data for IMS v 7. This job is optional.
