PM07416: SUPPRESS HWSSSL00E MESSAGE WITH RC=420 REPLACED BY BLANK LINES 10/02/15 PTF PECHANGE

Error description

• Customer reported that suppression of HWSSSL00E message
  resulted in printing blank lines..
  STC38160  HWSSSL00E UNABLE TO READ FROM SSL SOCKET:Socket
            partner  .......................................
            IPv4=192.32.133.44, PORT=3223, CLIENTID=2C852C97
  .. HWSSSL00E is now replaced with blnk lines
  STC16153  .....................................................

  Analysis indicated that it appears that the logic that filters
  out the attempt to print the message buffer which is empty in
  this  case ( blank ) misses doing so for READ error return code
  '420'. Although  the message is suppressed.

  Apar PK97902 suppresses message HWSSSL00E for return codes
  420 and 437.  Although the message is suppressed logic
  attempts to wto the contents of the message buffer which
  is blank for return code 420. The result is that 2 blank
  lines are presented to the SYSPRINT log.

Problem conclusion
