Error description

  • In DB2 Object Comparison Tool, when a difference is detected in
the BASE table which requires a drop and recreate, the
Auxiliary table is missing the Utilities - Copy and Runstats
which results in copy pending state and no statistics for the
Auxiliary table.
Additional Symptoms: copypend on Auxiliary Table

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: COPY and RUNSTATS utilities             *
*                      are not generated for a LOB             *
*                      table space that contains the           *
*                      auxiliary table.                        *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION: Apply The PTF.                               *
****************************************************************
LISTDEF will be generated with the ALL keyword for
the base table that has LOB columns. This will
bring in the LOB table spaces when the RUNSTATS
and COPY utilities are run.
