Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users of High Performance Fast Path * * Utilities Fast Path Advanced Tool and Fast * * Path Online Tools Version 3 Release 2 * * (FMID: H31A320). * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: FPA ANALYZE specifies an unreasonable * * value for LENGTH keyword parameter of * * the DFSORT control card that is used * * when REPORT subcommand is specified. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR. * **************************************************************** FPA ANALYZE generates the sort control card that is used when REPORT subcommand. FPA ANALYZE always sets "094" for the LENGTH keyword parameter of DFSORT. The value is valid when max segment level of the database is 15. But when max segment level of the database is less than 15, FPA ANALYZE must set the valid value of LENGTH. Because the value specified in LENGTH affect sort work data set used by DFSORT.
Problem conclusion
FPA ANALYZE is modified to specify the valid value LENGTH keyword parameter of DFSORT control card. ======================== = DOCUMENTATION CHANGE = ======================== The IMS High Performance Fast Path Utilities for z/OS User's Guide Version 3 Release 2 (SC18-9869-04).
