PM06301: DELETE DUPLICATE CLASS ENTRIES FROM CLASSINFO.TEXT.DATA

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When application classes keep changing (as in dev or test
  environment), information about multiple versions of the file
  are kept in the classinfo.text.data that eventually grows very
  large in size causing high heap consumption that could lead to
  OutOfMemoryErrors.  The
  classinfo.text.data information is optimized to delete the old
  information and reduce the memory size.
  

Local fix

• 1. Stop the WebSphere application server.
  2. Delete the following file:
  
  /itcam/runtime/was61.papbpm1Node01.ePro_1a/was61.papbpm1Node01.e
  Pro_1a.classinfo.text.data
  
  
  3. Restart the WebSphere application server.
  
  This should reduce the memory consumption by ITCAM
  significantly.
