PM06166: ABEND0C7 DURING DATA COMPRESSION IF LOG BACKWARD PROCESSING IS FORCED ACROSS A REORG.

APAR status

Error description

• DB2 uses a compression dictionary to compress and decompress
  data.
  DB2 Log Analysis Tool needs this dictionary to be able to
  decompress the data. During Log Backward processing the
  compression dictionary is obtained from the current tablespace.
  
  Some DB2 utilities can rebuild this dictionary thus creating a
  new dictionary. The new dictionary is stored in the current
  tablespace. If the new dictionary is used to decompress some
  data that was compressed by a previous dictionary (before the
  DB2 utility ran) then a S0C7 is most likely to occur.
  
  This fix will prevent the S0C7 due to using a compression
  dictionary that was built after the data was compressed. The job
  will now end with an error message indicating there is a
  dictionary mismatch.
  
  This fix also changes warning ALAA073W to error ALAA073E.
