a SEGSIZE 64 MASK even though the table space is partitioned.

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: If SEGSIZE value>0 is specified         *
*                      for overwrite mask DB2 Object           *
*                      Comparison Tool applies the             *
*                      new value for all table spaces          *
*                      including partitioned table             *
*                      space in DB2 v8.                        *

* RECOMMENDATION: Apply The PTF.                               *
****************************************************************
DB2 Object Comparison Tool attempts to apply
SEGSIZE 64 mask for a partitioned table space
in DB2 v8.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • DB2 Object Comparison Tool has been updated
to reset SEGSIZE value to 0 for partitioned table
spaces in pre-v9 DB2 version.
