    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: DB2 Object Comparison Tool *
    *                      for z/OS generated a "REBUILD           *
    * INDEX" statement when panel *
    *                      GOC5 "Generate Compare Jobs"            *
    *                      field "Run REORG/REBUILD" option        *
    *                      is set to A/'All relevant'.             *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION: Apply The PTF. *
    ****************************************************************
    The REBUILD INDEX statement
    was generated without verifying
    that the index was just created.
    This caused an unnecessary
    REBUILD INDEX step.

Problem conclusion

  • The REBUILD INDEX statement will be omitted for
    new index(es) when the Run REORG/REBUILD option
    is 'All relevant'.
