PM05646: SUBSYSTEM ANALYSIS DOESNT PROPERLY IDENTIFY TS/IX DATASETS WHEN THEY USE A MULTIPLE LEVEL ALIAS

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When multi level alias (MLA) is active, RE does not properly
  identify TS/IX datasets and what volume they reside on.  This
  can cause RE not to issue an error message when those volumes
  are left out of a system backup.  It can also cause AUTOMAP
  profiles to miss volumes on a system backup.
  

Local fix

• Convert the DB2 to not use Multi Level Alias.
