Error description
ClearQuest 7.1.0 RCP Startup Queries do not run at login and dec orations are missing. After upgrading to 7.1.0.1/FL7 and 7.1.0.2/FL7 from 7.0.1/FL5, y ou are unable to get more than one startup query to work. Addin g more than one startup query prevents any startup queries from running and causes the Startup Query decorations to be missing a fter re-login.
Local fix
Problem summary
When setting a query as a startup query, a calculation is performed to find the site_id, which is checked against the original site_id from the database. The problem is that they do not always match based on some the query dbids. This calculation is obsolete and not needed because after it is done, a SQL select statement is performed to check whether the query dbid is in the table, which is as good of a check as it can get. We removed the obsolete method that does the calculation and the call to it, leaving just the select query check. This change fixes the problem.
Problem conclusion
A fix is available in ClearQuest 7.0.0.9, 7.0.1.8, and 7.1.1.1.
