PM04398: MSGIPI0014E AND MSGIPI0013E RECEIVED BY IMSPA AVAILABILITY REPORT

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• IMS PA Availability report may receive the following errors:
  IPI0014E  SMB has invalid status, Rec=07
  IPI0013E  Resource Availability Reporting stopped due to error
  
  This error may be observed when the same Transaction (SMB) is
  scheduled in multiple regions.  The Availability report
  processor expects to receive an equivalent number of Application
  Terminate (X'07') records and Application Start (X'08') records.
  If this is not the case then the additional unmatched X'07'
  record may trigger the reported error condition.
  
  Additional issue addressed: For the Database Trace report,
  the Database Name field can contain either a database name
  or transaction code when Option 1 (default) is specified.
  The heading of the field is currently just "Database Name".
  The heading will be adjusted to read "DBName/Trancode" when
  Option 1 is specified.

  This error may be observed when the same Transaction (SMB)

Problem conclusion

• When a transaction is active in more than one region do not
  decrement the active region count if it cannot be
  established that the current region was scheduled by an
  X'08' Application start record.
