Error description

  • IMS PA Availability report may receive the following errors:
    IPI0014E  SMB has invalid status, Rec=07
    IPI0013E  Resource Availability Reporting stopped due to error
    
    This error may be observed when the same Transaction (SMB) is
    scheduled in multiple regions.  The Availability report
    processor expects to receive an equivalent number of Application
    Terminate (X'07') records and Application Start (X'08') records.
    If this is not the case then the additional unmatched X'07'
    record may trigger the reported error condition.

Problem conclusion

  • When a transaction is active in more than one region do not
    decrement the active region count if it cannot be established
    that the current region was scheduled by an X'08' Application
    start record.
