  • When adding an Active Directory (AD) group to the "Express
    Administrators" group members of the group aren't able to access
    the Cognos Express Manager Console or the Download Client
    Software from the Welcome Page.

Local fix

  • Add the user directly as a member of the Express Administrators
    group in Cognos Administration.
