Error description

  • This APAR will address the following:
    - The CEX event trace records are limited to 1024 bytes Allow
      customer specification of the size of the CEX trace records
      using a new control input dataset with control cards to
      specify the size of the CEX trace records up to a limit of
      7168 bytes.
    - Enable the CEX GUI to provide support for IMS OTMA supported
      commands Change the CEX GUI and suporting CEX console services
      to allow the GUI to submit IMS commands via IMS Connect.
      The class of IMS type 1 commands support are
      those commands that can be submitted from an OTMA client.
    - Provide a new feature in CEX to support the IMS Connect client
      sending data that is logged to the CEX journal as an client
      data event.
    - Provide support for a client to send client specific data
      to the CEX service exit, CEXSVC01. The data provided is
      recorded to the CEX journal.
    - Running the IMS Connect extension V2R2 utility CEXRTCNV to
      convert the RECORDER trace data into symbol length records in
      the format of IMS Connect Extensions event records,
      the OPB data of the ICONRC record is not converted.
    - Add a message number to the prefix of the following:
      CEX FAILED TO INITIALIZE, RSN=040D031B - SEE CEXPRINT *

     PTF UK54485 requires the following changes to allow SMP/E to
     process successfully:
     SMPPTS - Needs at least 215 CYL free space during the SMP/E
              RECEIVE process.
     SYSUT1 - Needs at least 350 Cyl as primary space with 200 cyl
              secondary during the SMP/E APPLY process.
     SMPWRK6 - Needs at least 350 Cyl as primary space with 200 cyl
               secondary during the SMP/E APPLY process.
