PM04008: RUNNING IQCINSRT RESULTS IN: MESSAGES SCRAPPED BY AIB RETURN CODE 00F0 BY REASON CODE 0018

Error description

• Running IQCINSRT results in: "Messages Scrapped by AIB Return
  Code 00F0 by Reason Code 0018: Invalid IMS or QCF Release"
  Running with IMS V9 there should be no compatabilty issue.
  
  IQCSELCT prepares IMS release, based on  LOGIN DD, or based on
  RECON sysout if the CHKPT LAST is used.  In this case the client
  had V9R1 set in RECON, which is not checked in the programs,
  so the default 6.2 is set.  Other clients use VERSION=910 in
  the RECON so no problem exists.
  
  Review of the IQCSELCT report can see the wrong IMS release
  as follows:

  *                      and prepared to be inserted.            *
  *                      Then the IMS release is checked for     *
  *                      valid values in insert program.         *
  *                      If no valid IMS release is found- the   *
  *                      messages are rejected.                  *
  *                                                              *
  *                      IMS release is recognized by IQCSELCT   *
  *                      program using several sources:          *
  *                      sample log data set,RECON               *
  *                      records, or QCFIN control card          *
  *                      IMSREL.                                 *
  *                       If there is no control card IMSREL and *
  *                      no sample log - after recon LIST.LOG is *
  *                      executed - IMS release is set, based on *
  *                      the RECON records.                      *
  *                       IQCSELCT did not check for IMS release *
  *                      9.1 returned after LIST.LOG command.    *
  *                      The release in QCF prefix is set to     *
  *                      default 6.2 value, but this value is    *
  *                      not honored by insert programs and      *
  *                      all messages are rejected.              *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
  ****************************************************************
  Program IQCSELCT is changed to check for IMS release 9.1,
  after LIST.LOG command is executed. Messages are prepared with
  valid IMS release in the prefix.
