• Closed as program error.

Error description

• DB2 Object Compare Tool can generate inconsistent results for
  SET CURRENT SCHEMA
  statement preceeding CREATE VIEW statement.
  .
  Results are different when comparing an 'old' DB2 object vs.
  compare jobs which use DDL files, or 'new' DB2 object
  definitions. 'Old' DB2 object meaning one defined prior to
  DB2 v9, whereas 'new' DB2 object refers to one that is defined
  in a DB2 v9 environment.
  .
  For example, note SCHEMA differences in CHG file, when both OC
  reports contain:

    View OA1A12.VPC412A1A not found on target
    New View OA1A12.VPC412A1A will be added
  .
  but the CHG file from the VER file compare of 'old' objects
  shows:
  .
  CREATE SET CURRENT PATH = "SYSIBM","SYSFUN","SYSPROC","OA1A12" ;
  CREATE SET CURRENT SCHEMA = 'GDB0520' ;
  CREATE CREATE VIEW VPC412A1A(SAFEKEEPING_ACC_NO, SEQUENCENO,...

  but the CHG file from DDL file compare or 'new' DB2 V9 objects
  shows:

Local fix

• Use DDL or DROP/CREATE objects in DB2 v9
