    ****************************************************************
DRF stops the database or area when DBRCMD(LOCAL) or
DBRCMD(GLOBAL) is specified even though VERIFY is also
specified. This should not be done with VERIFY. The database or
area is not started even if STACMD is also specified.

Problem conclusion

  • GEN:
    KEYWORDS:

    *** END IMS KEYWORDS ***
DRF is changed to not issue a DBR command when VERIFY is
    specified.
    .
This APAR also changes DRF when a problem occurs when a
database or area is unauthorized at the end of the job. DRF
will now take an SVC dump if such an error occurs and then
continue to end of job. The DUMPID is Unauth Failure. This is
a situation that should not occur, so a dump is needed to try
to determine what caused the problem. If it does happen, contact
    the IBM Support Center.
    .
The IBM IMS Database Recovery Facility for z/OS manual
(SC18-9407-04) is updated to reflect this change.
The following sentence is added to the explanation for STACMD.
STACMD is not issued when VERIFY is also specified.
    .
The following sentence is added to the explanation for DBRCMD.
DBRCMD is not issued when VERIFY is also specified.
