Error description

  • When creating a site area to contain a new piece of content (via
the authoring template option) we use the system user to create
the implicit site area. This avoids the scenario where the
logged in user can create content but not site areas in the
library meaning this type of authoring template will fail.
In this situation the access for the system user is computed
using the current logged in user IF this is the first request
after a server restart. This error has been corrected to
computer the system user access correctly in this case.
The error observed in the UI when this occured is as follows:
"User SystemUser does not have aditor access to the
     library:LibraryName"

Local fix

  • Corrected computation of system user access in this case.

Problem summary

  • SystemUser does not have access to create implicit site areas in
    library.

Problem conclusion

  • The access restriction has been corrected
