PM01629: RFT cannot select the first value in dropdown list in playback

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• 1) There are two values in list_seelct1, 'User Age' and 'User Ar
  ea'. When I recorded my scripts, I select different value at eac
  h click and created VP (verification points) for the value selec
  ted. When playback, I noticed that the VP of 'User Age' was alwa
  ys failed. It seems that RFT couldn't select the first value 'Us
  er Age' in the list but always click the second 'User Area' inst
  ead.
  
  2) When playback, after click the Ok button, the IE browser drop
  dwon menu (see attached [IE_Menu.jpg]) always pop-up even I didn
  't record this click action at all. But this doesn't fail the pl
  ayback.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

Problem conclusion

• Code changes in native IE code to get the correct rectangle
  of option proxy.
  changes done in java code, to getrectangle from optionProxy
  when rectangle from comboListItemProxy comes null or empty.
