APAR status

Error description

  • Processing time is kept in a 16-bit field in the x'5936' or
    x'5937' log record. Customer has raised User Marketing Field
    Requirement MR1022094529 to request another means of reporting
    process time.  We'll look to compute process time from event
    timestamps in IMS x'5901', x'5903', x'5936' and x'5937' log
    records when FLOMPRTM (x'5937') or FLDQPRTM (x'5936') = x'FFFF'
    indicating overflow.
    
    Two additional requirements being added via this APAR:
    1)  Provide the ability to store log reports in IMS Tools
        Knowledge Base ( ITKB ).
        IMSPA will provide updated ITKB "Product Definition Table"
        and sample job to load it into ITKB repository.
        We'll update IMSPA to use this new PDT and enable ITKB
        support on dialog panels.
    2)  Provide the ability to filter on PROGRAM in form-based
        reports for DBCTL logs.IMSPA does filter on TRANCODE,
        but that makes no sense in a DBCTL environment.
        Add code to form-based reports to allow for filtering on
        field PROGRAM.

    2.IMS PA does not fully support storage of log reports in ITKB.
    3.IMS PA will filter on TRANCODE, but that makes no sense in a
     DBCTL environment.
