Error description

  • When invoking Path Checker the following errors are detected:
    CSV003I REQUESTED MODULE DSNACAB NOT FOUND
    CSV028I ABEND806-04 JOBNAME=INSYSAD STEPNAME=$SYSPROG
    CEE3250C The system or user abend S806 R=00000004 was issued.
    IRX0250E System abend code 806, reason code 00000004.
    IRX0255E Abend in host command SELECT or address environment
    routine ISPEXEC.

    * RECOMMENDATION: APPLY the PTF. *
    ****************************************************************
    Due to the linkage method used internally, the search sequence
    employed by z/OS Program Fetch can sometimes fail to find
    needed DB2 modules.

Problem conclusion

  • Changed the code to use a different linkage technique and added
    the DB2 load library to the ISPLLIB LIBDEF allocation in the
    CKP CLIST.
