PM00232: BLOB WASN'T DISPLAYED IF A COLUMN CONTAIN BLANK BEFORE CLOB

Error description

• With QMF 810 and DB2 810 , while selecting on a table with BLOB
  and in the statements a colunm containing blank  value is before
  the CLOB column , QMF does not show the BLOB value.

Problem summary

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Users running queries that return LOB   *
  *                      data may see a '-' or NULL indicator    *
  *                      instead of the metadata information     *
  *                      showing the data type and length. No    *
  *                      error messages are received.            *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
  ****************************************************************
  Under certain circumstances, QMF will not display LOB data types
  with the M edit code (which displays the metadata for the
  column). It will display a NULL or '-' value instead. QMF should
  always display LOB data using the M edit code.
  

Problem conclusion

• Module DSQFRDAT has been fixed to specify M edit code process
  for LOB data in all circumstances.
