  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: HPIC Image Copy function under IMS      *
  *                      Database Recovery Facility terminates   *
  *                      with ABEND S30A ( ABEND30A ) when all   *
  *                      of the following conditions are         *
  *                      satisfied:                              *
  *                      - COMP=Y is applied to HPIC image copy  *
  *                        process.                              *
  *                      - I/O error or DCB abend, such as abend *
  *                        SB37 ( ABENDB37 ), occurs in the PUT  *
  *                        macro for output image copy data set. *

  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR.         *

  HPIC Image Copy function under IMS Database Recovery Facility
  terminates with ABEND S30A ( ABEND30A ) when all of the
  following conditions are satisfied:
  - COMP=Y is applied to HPIC image copy process.
  - I/O error or DCB abend, such as abend SB37 ( ABENDB37 ),
    occurs in the PUT macro for output image copy data set.
  
  The cause of this problem is that HPIC called from DRF with
  different TCB issues GETMAIN and FREEMAIN macro.

Problem conclusion

• FABJDRQS has been modified as follows:
  - To bypass the FREEMAIN macro when some error occurs in the
    FUNC=PUT process. HPIC issues the FREEMAIN macro in FUNC=CLOSE
    that is subsequently called to FUNC=PUT.
  - To move the GETMAIN macro from FUNC=PUT process to FUNC=OPEN
    process so that GETMAIN and FREEMAIN are issued under same
    TCB.
  
  FABJNTFI has been modified to check correctly the HPIC control
  block.
