Error description

  • The DB2 Object Comparison Tool for z/OS reports a change:
(D)Tablespace change from partitioned to partition-by-range
when a MASK:
SEGSIZE:*.*,64
is used however no changes are found when the DDL created by
the product is processed resulting in the execution failing
with a message:
ADB5031W No statements were found that can be run.

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: If a SEGSIZE value>0 is specified for   *
*                      the overwrite mask, a partitioned       *
*                      table space is changed to               *
*                      partition-by-range.                     *
*                      Object Compare recreates the table      *
*                      space because it is now a Universal     *
*                      table space ( UTS ) but no SEGSIZE is   *
*                      defined.                                *

* RECOMMENDATION: Apply The PTF.                               *

If a SEGSIZE value>0 is specified for the overwrite mask, a
partitioned table space is changed to partition-by-range.
Object Compare recreates the table space because it is now a
Universal table space ( UTS ) but no SEGSIZE is defined.
