PK98416: THE "LOAD DATA INTO DB2" PANEL MAY INCORRECTLY GIVE AN ALAA546E ERROR WHEN THE USER SETS THE "GENERAL REPORT DATA" TO 'N'

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The DB2 Log Analysis Tool "General report data" field is
  validated using the "Generate details" field from the
  "Generate database activity report" panel when the LOAD
  is made during the same run as the general report and
  detail report.
  
  The "Generate details" field should not be used for validation
  when running a LOAD as a separate job.
  

Local fix

• * go to the "Generate database activity report" panel and
  * set the "Generate details" field to 'Y'.
    Move through the panels to generate the JCL.
    This will reset the mode file and allow you to
    - go to "Load data into DB2" and
    - use the detail data.
  
    *** Important!  You need to generate the JCL, but don't run
        the JCL because running it will overwrite the data you
        want to LOAD.
