• The DB2 Administation Tool for z/OS Change Management function
  does not build a REBUILD INDEX statement for an INDEX created
  with DEFER YES resulting in the RUNSTATS utility failing
  DSNU214I DSNUGDTC - REBUILD PENDING ON INDEXPROHIBITS
  PROCESSING

  The index had the following changes:
  Compare index source(<x>) and target(<x>)
    (D)Columns have been inserted and deleted
    No comparison of column attributes will take place
    (D)Column <col1> added
    (D)Column <col2> dropped
    Index <x> will be dropped
    Index will be recreated
  .

  *                      REBUILD was not done.                   *

  The index being dropped or created was left in the
  Rebuild Pending state.
  

Problem conclusion

• The DB2 Administration and Object Comparison
  Tool for z/OS DDL reader was changed to correct
  this problem.
