Error description

When Java EE5 applications define alternate deployment
descriptors for modules in the application, information defined
in annotations is not applied to the alternate deployment
descriptors.

The alternate deployment descriptors for J2EE 5 modules
contained in an enterprise application, are not updated with
annotations from the module classes.  This function, which is
new to version 7.0, was not enabled for alternate deployment
descriptors.

Problem conclusion

The common archive classes used by WebSphere Application
Server were updated to enabled the annotation scanning function.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix pack 7.0.0.9.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
