• Closed as program error.

Error description

• A shared remote location is used to store all Data Manager log
  files created by Data Manager users.
  The users can execute tasks without error and the log files are
  written to the shared location but, if a user tries to view the
  log file created by another user using right-click Audit/Audit
  log, it fails with

  Failed to locate the log file.
  
  Data Manager Network Services returned an error.
  
  
  Data Manager
  
  The actual error message was:
  1. ERROR
  DM-NTC-0008 Service Instance [None] Data Manager Network
  Services connection failure: ds_getaddrinfo <remote_server_name>
  returned error No such host is known
  
  Users can view the log files they created without any problems.
  
  This problem does not occur in 8.3
