Error description

When a JavaServer Page (JSP) is accessed, WebSphere Application
Server is responding with a different JSP's code.  This will
result in an application not functioning properly.

Local fix

Deleteing the jsp scratch directory will help in resolving the
problem.

*                      JSP file if both files are located in   *
*                      an extended document root directory.    *

An application which is configured to use an
extendedDocumentRoot for JSP files can result in JSP files
which are translated and compiled with the contents of another
JSP file.  The issue can arise during heavy load when multiple
requests are getting the input stream to read the contents of
different JSP files.  There exists a small timing window in
which one request can receive the input stream of a different
request.  The result is that one JSP file can be translated
and compiled with the contents of another JSP file.

Problem conclusion

The JSP container code was modified to add synchronization
blocks around the calls to get the input stream for JSP files
in an extended document root.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix packs 6.1.0.29 and 7.0.0.9.  Please refer to the
