java.lang.NullPointerException is thrown when input parameter
data is a space for
java.util.Properties type command attribute.

For example,

tklmKeyList is our CLI, one of the command attributes is
java.util.Properties type.

The NullPointerException error is thrown due to a user entering
a space in one of the command parameters input data. The
scripting code doesn't trim the string when validating the
input data value and treats it as a valid string with a null
value and sets the input value to the command which causes
the command execution error.

Problem conclusion

This is a bug in the scripting AdminCmdController.promptInput
code.  The code will now trim each input string when checking
whether it is a valid string to avoid the problem if spaces are
entered.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix packs 6.1.0.29 and 7.0.0.9.  Please refer to the
