Closed as program error.
Error description
The WebSphere Connect JDBC driver (found in WebSphere Application Server V6.1 and V6.0.2) has an error where "index out of range" exception is incorrectly reported on various ResultSet.getXXX methods after having previously invoked getMoreResults on the PreparedStatement. Here is an example of the exception stack, java.sql.SQLException: [IBM][SQLServer JDBC Driver]Column index 1 is out of range. at com.ibm.websphere.jdbc.base.BaseExceptions. createException(Unknown Source) at com.ibm.websphere.jdbc.base.BaseExceptions. getException(Unknown Source) at com.ibm.websphere.jdbc.base.BaseResultSet. throwBadOrdinal(Unknown Source) at com.ibm.websphere.jdbc.base.BaseResultSet. getInt(Unknown Source) at com.ibm.websphere.jdbcx.base.BaseResultSetWrapper. getInt(Unknown Source) The APAR fix corrects the error such that getMoreResults does not lead to the "index out of range" error.
