APAR status

Error description

• The DB2 Administration Tool for z/OS panel ADB2EC "Create
  PLAN_TABLE" running on a DB2 9 CM subsystem created DDL with
  CCSID UNICODE even though the "IN" database and tablespace
  were CCSID EBCDIC. The CREATE TABLE fails with a message:
  DSNT408I SQLCODE = -874, ERROR:  THE ENCODING SCHEME SPECIFIED
  FOR THE TABLE MUST BE THE SAME AS THE CONTAINING TABLE SPACE
  OR OTHER PARAMETERS
  

Local fix

• Use the PROMPT feature to edit the CREATE TABLE statement before
  execution to replace/remove the CCSID statement.
