PK96055: PUMA DOES NOT RETURN MODIFYTIMESTAMP AND CREATETIMESTAMP PROPERT IES

APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • PumaProfile API does not return modifyTimestamp and
    createTimestamp properties. If asking PumaProfile for the valid
    properties modifyTimestamp and createTimestamp of a principal,
    PumaProfile always returns NULL.
    
    Problem Solution:
    The APAR changes PUMA code so that it asks VMM not only for all
    properties (*) but also for modifyTimestamp and createTimestamp
    explicitly
    
    Important:
    The APAR functionality is disabled per default.
    To enable it, the following two steps have to be performed:
     - it is required to install the related WAS APAR PK95940
     - add the configuration setting to WP PumaStoreService in the
    WAS admin console under Resource Environment Provider:
        store.puma_default.returnOperationalAttributes=true
      and restart the server afterwards.
