Comments
HP Load is modified to be able to use an unloaded data set in *CP format as an input of the reload. ======================== = Documentation Change = ======================== IMS High Performance Load for z/OS Version 2 Release 1 User's Guide SC18-9222-03 ( SC18922203 ) should be changed as follows: ================================================================ 2.2.3.14 INPUT control statement : IMS High Performance Load can reload an unloaded data set that is specified in the DFSUINPT DD statement in one of the following formats--created by IMS High Performance Unload--or in an equivalent format created by a compatible program: - The HD format - The HD format with compressed segments - The short header format - The communication industry standard format (see Note) Notes: 1.If the database has a logical relationship with another | database, IMS High Performance Load cannot reload a data set | in either the communication industry standard format or the | communication industry partitioned format. | 2.If the database is a HALDB, IMS High Performance Load cannot reload a data set in either the short header format or the communication industry standard format. 3.If the database is a SHISAM DB, the communication industry standard format is not supported. | 4.If the database is a non-HALDB, IMS High Performance Load | cannot reload a data set in the communication industry | partitioned format. APPENDIX1.3 Appendix C. Messages and codes APPENDIX1.3.3 Messages APPENDIX1.3.3.1 High Performance Load messages HPSR3668E INPUT FORMAT IS NOT ALLOWED FOR NON-HALDB | Explanation: The input format is PHD or CP. They are not allowed for a non High Availability Large Database. System Action: IMS High Performance Load issues a user 3668 abend and a dump. Programmer Response: If you want to reload a non-HALDB, you must use the HD, SH, or the CS format as input. Use one of these formats as input, and rerun the job. Problem Determination: If the database to be reloaded is not a HALDB, check the format of the unloaded data set and the DBD. | HPSR3670E INPUT FORMAT *SH / *CS / *CP / HDX IS NOT ALLOWED FOR A DATABASE IN A LOGICAL RELATIONSHIP | Explanation: The input format SH (the short header format), CS | (the communication industry standard format), CP (the | communication industry partitioned format), or HDX (USERHDRX o USERHDR control statement is specified) is used for a database in a logical relationship, which is not allowed. System Action: IMS High Performance Load issues a user 3670 abend and a dump. Programmer Response: If you want to reload a database in a logical relationship, the HD format as input and HALDB, rerun the job. Problem Determination: Check the unloaded data set format and the DBD if the database to be reloaded has a logical relationship.
