  • The DB2 Object Comparison Tool for z/OS issues a message:
(A)Label   added   : aaa  char(5)
  Tables have identical column lists
  Table comment/label will be changed
however no changes are written to the Changes file.
This situation has been identified as being different to the
issue reported under APAR PK78594

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Single line DDL statement for COMMENT   *
*                      ON COLUMN and LABEL ON column was not   *
*                      written to the changes file.            *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION: Apply The PTF.                               *
****************************************************************
COMMENT ON COLUMN and LABEL ON column DDL statements had to be
more than one line to be written to the changes file.
