PK94931: HPIC GIVES INCORRECT MESSAGE DFS3144A BECAUSE OF THE MESSAGE TABLE OFFSET CHANGED IN IMS V10.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• HPIC tried to issue DFS3185I:LARGE BLOCK INTERFACE DETECTED, ITè
  WILL BE USED FOR DDNAME xxxx instead of DFS3144A message.
  
  The message is information for LBI data set. HPIC module under
  IPR support multi IMS versions, and we use IMS message module.
  Meesage interface uses IMS macro msg table. HPIC V4.1 uses IMS
  V9 macro as base, but message table offset has been changed in
  IMS V10, and IMS V10 message module refers different offset and
  issue wrong message.

  HPIC issues incorrect message DFS3144A ( MSGDFS3144 ) in IMS
  version 10 under IPR with specifying ICTYPE=A.
  
  Originally HPIC issues message DFS3185I ( MSFDFS3185 ) when HPIC
  founds LBI interface for output image copies. But HPIC issues
  incorrect message DFS3144A ( MSGDFS3144 ) in IMS version 10 or
  later under DRF or IPR with specifying ICTYPE=A.
  This is because the offset of DFS3185I message in IMS message
  table DFSUCP80 is changed in IMS version 10 but HPIC still uses
  the offset in IMS V9 message table.
  

Problem conclusion

• FABJDPUT, FABJDRQS and FABJTERM have been modified to issue
  correct DFS3815I message.
