Error description

• - FUN2221F Syntax error using the batch utilities to convert
  from 1.2 to 2.1
  - Message CEX5015E and CEX5016E when trying tried to format IMS
    V11 IMS Connect recorder trace records
  KEYWORDS: IMSV11TGT/K
  - An 0C6 can occur in CEXTECL if the storage returned via
    getmain has not been cleared by Z/OS. Preceding the abend
    message CEX5035I CONTROL HAS BEEN PASSED TO THE SECOND
    HWSTECL0 is issued.
  - If the CEX journal manager attempts to submit an archive job
    to JES via the internal reader while JES is not available, the
    internal reader process will hang and prevent CEX from
    journaling event records until JES has been restarted. This is
    likely to result in the IMS Connect region entering a wait
    state  because all of the event recording buffers are full.
  - Event record macros for events 48 - 51 are missing the TCBIB
    control block definition
  - When IMS Connect Extensions is performing RACF User
    verification in a Z/OS 1.10 environment, an ABEND878 can
    occur due to a change in processing of the MSGRTRN=YES
    request. Message ICH70001I is now returned for a successful
    verification of the User where previously they were not. This
    results in CEX not freeing the unexpected message returned
    storage.

  Rollup Maintenance for CEX 220. The following items are fixed:
  1. FUN2221F Syntax error using the batch utilities to convert
     from 1.2 to 2.1
  2. Message CEX5015E and CEX5016E when trying to format
     IMS V11 IMS Connect recorder trace records
  3. An 0C6 can occur in CEXTECL if the storage returned
     via getmain has not been cleared by Z/OS. Preceeding the
     abend message CEX5035I CONTROL HAS BEEN PASSED TO THE
     SECOND HWSTECL0 is issued.

Problem conclusion

• 1. Changed the batch utilities to properly recognize
     unpopulated fields in the source repository and format
     the receiving repository with default values
  2. Corrected the recorder trace formatting utilities
     to recognize and format the AX, AR, and AE recorder
     trace records for the XML adapter
  3. Ensure any storage returned is cleared before using the
     storage.
  4. This APAR changes the CEX Journal Manager component to
     submit the archive job using an asynchronous process
     that does not cause the journal manager task to wait for
     the archive jobstep submission.
  5. Added the TCPIB control block definition to the event
     record macros
  6. A change has been made to check for any returned messages
     and free the message storage as required
