Error description

  • Update QMF to recognize 2 digit database version identifiers.
    

Local fix

  • This fix will allow QMF for TSO/CICS Version 9 to run with DB2 f
    or z/OS Version 10. QMF for TSO/CICS Version 9 does not support
    any new features of DB2 for z/OS Version 10, it runs in
    toleration mode.
    

Problem summary

    * USERS AFFECTED: All QMF for TSO/CICS V9.1 users attempting   *
    *                 to connect to a database that has a 2 digit  *
    *                 version number.                              *
    ****************************************************************
    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Users connecting to any database that   *
    *                      has a two digit version number will     *
    *                      receive errors indicating that the      *
    *                      database product is not supported by    *
    *                      QMF. Message numbers could be (but are  *
    *                      not limited to): DSQ10341 MSGDSQ10341   *
    *                      DSQ10336 MSGDSQ10336 DSQ10339           *
    *                      MSGDSQ10339 DSQ10340 MSGDSQ10340.       *

    QMF was not enabled to recognize a two digit database version
    identifier.
